For Sale: Used Marlin Model 39 in good condition (70%+). This rare lever action in 22 (S, L & LR) was manufactured between 1926-1928, which is indicated the serial number. Another thing to note is that the label on the top of the barrel reads, “The Marlin Firearms Corporation”, as opposed to “Marlin Firearms Company”. This also reinforces the date in which it was manufactured. This rifle has a star pressed behind the model name below the hammer. This indicates that when this rifle was inspected, it was very high quality. This Marlin has some minor rust spots. And a very small chip on the toe of the buttplate. Rifle is in great working order and is believed to have the original stock. This rifle is perfect for the collector as these rifles are hard to find and seldom come up for sale.
